COMPLIMENTARY FIRST MEETING

At my design studio in Hertfordshire, via Zoom or at a pre-arranged venue in central London (there is a charge for this service, to cover my travel). This meeting will last 1 hour.

MOOD BOARD

Following our meeting I would create a mood board to show you some potential ideas for your stationery with font selections and initial ideas of what we could do. Each mood board is £300 (previous examples of these can be seen during our first meeting).

The mood board can have one round of amends. Once approved, I would prepare a quotation based on this mood board. Please note: the mood board is not a design draft.

QUOTATION

Once a quotation has been agreed, a 40% booking fee is requested. The balance is payable when the invitations are ready to send to you.

WORDING

A rough draft of wording, map references etc would be provided at this point by you. I would send you a pdf guide to help you write your wording.

THE DESIGN PROCESS BEGINS

The exciting bit… I will create a first draft, this can take 10-15 working days. If bespoke illustrations are required, then a brief would be established first, before these are created.

The design fee includes 3 drafts to make changes and evolve the design. All drafts are sent to you as pdfs to view on screen. A colour Xerox printed version can be requested for draft 02. The entire design stage can take 8-12 weeks, depending on speed of response and time of the year.

After 3 drafts, each design draft is charged at £75 per extra draft.

As part of the design fee I will also create a logo or monogram. You will receive a copy of this logo to use at your event and share with your other vendors.

THE PRINTING PROCESS BEGINS

Once approved, I will prepare and send the final files to my printer. The printing stage takes 3-5 working weeks depending on complexity and which print processes we have selected to use. I always see a set of printers proofs to approve, before the entire quantity is printed.

DELIVERY - WOO HOO!

Once completed, I am happy to mail all invitations on your behalf. Costs would be based on postage charges and where they are being sent.

ON THE DAY STATIONERY

Items such as Order of Service, Menus etc will be designed at a later date (probably around 6-8 weeks before your wedding). A quote for these items would be provided once the invitations have been completed.
